Unaccompanied Baggage by Air

If you are flying abroad for a long stay or for work then you will find that the standard airline baggage allowance of 20-30 kilograms is not enough to take all that you need. If you decide to take more than the baggage allowance with you on the aircaft then Excess Baggage Charges (levied by most airlines at a rate of 1% of the first class fare per kilogram) can prove very expensive. We can move your excess luggage as Air Cargo or Unaccompanied Baggage to your destination at a fraction of the cost. This service is particularly useful for tools required for work, study books or baby supplies which are needed very soon after you arrive. Transit time is between 3-6 days from the collection from your home, depending on the desination. Please note that for some destinations airfreight can be cheaper than seafreight due to high minimum charges on seafreight. We will be happy to give you price indications for both so that you can make an informed choice as to the most fitting service for your needs. Aviation security is now very strictly enforced and shippers must comply with certain regulations. Unaccompanied luggage cannot be booked on the same flight that you are travelling on; items of an inflammable or explosive nature such as aerosols, matches etc cannot be packed in your unaccompanied luggage; and all luggage can be searched at any time by the appropriate authorities i.e. Customs, Police or Security Staff.
